Product Overview

The MS-156C Series is a coaxial switch designed for ultra-small size inspection, featuring a height of 1.35mm. It is intended for use in testing circuits and not as an interface. It is not suitable for special environments such as dust, high humidity, gas, or extreme temperatures. Plugs can be classified as press-down type for automatic checks or with a retentive lock for manual checks. Avoid using the washing process and ensure the device housing does not exert pressure on the MS-156C if the finished device is dropped. Thermal limits must not be exceeded (over 260C for more than 10 seconds) to prevent resin melting and deformation. For automatic inspections, consult the MS-156 plug connector manual.

Mounting Precautions

Use specified PCB patterns and metal mask dimensions. Ensure cross-hatched areas are free of conductive traces. Do not use hand soldering for MS-156C3. Design web tabs away from MS-156C3 if using routers. Avoid use in dust, high humidity, gas, or extreme temperatures. Do not apply heat over 260C for more than 10 seconds.

Placing conductive traces in cross-hatched areas, using non-specified PCB patterns or metal mask dimensions, using non-identified jigs & tools for assembly, using the product in high-reliability applications without Hirose review.
