Product Overview

The Amphenol Socapex RJField Ethernet Connection System transforms standard RJ45 cordsets into robust Push Pull IP67 connectors designed for harsh environments. It enables the use of Ethernet Class D / Cat. 5e connections for 10 BaseT, 100 BaseTX, or 1000 BaseT networks. Key advantages include sealing against fluids and dusts (IP67), resistance to shock, vibration, and traction, elimination of field cabling operations and tools, and improved EMI protection. The patented RJStop system allows standard RJ45 cordsets to be used within a protective composite plug. The RJF 544 plug connects to a receptacle via a user-friendly Push Pull coupling. Receptacles offer various back terminations: a female RJ45, an RJ45 cordset, or IDC modules. Shielding is transmitted to the receptacle through lateral grounding fingers, with metallized receptacle versions offering direct panel shielding for enhanced EMI protection.
